Lauren Lopez is a Program Coordinator for Latinx Student Success at The Ohio State University. She manages the team’s efforts in cultivating the Latinx community for the academic, social, leadership, and professional support of the students at Ohio State. Lauren believes in the full inclusion of Latinx and underrepresented groups on campus and works to raise the visibility of those groups on campus.

After graduation from The Ohio State University in 2012, Lauren began her professional career as a licensed middle school math teacher in Indiana and Ohio for five years. During her time as a teacher, Lauren designed and implemented a highly rigorous curriculum that improved middle school math scores by at least 15% in each of the schools she worked at. Throughout her time teaching Lauren was able to earn her Masters of Art in Teaching from Marian University in 2014.

Lauren involves herself in numerous community organizations. She is a recent graduate of the Latinx Mentoring Academy, Administrative Coordinator of Think Make Live, LLC and she serves as the President-Elect of the Latinx Alumni Society at The Ohio State University. During her free time, Lauren enjoys volunteering as a middle school ladies basketball coach and the Advisor for the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Psi Lambda National Inc. co-ed Latino Fraternity.

Felicia is the Community Organizer and Activist for Non-violence, President of the Easthaven Civic Association, Vice President of Think Make Live, Treasurer for the MidEast Area Community Collaborative (MACC), and a Professional Administrator with the Columbus Unity House (a home in the Easthaven community that provides individuals recovering from alcohol and other drug addiction with a safe, sober living environment). Felicia was a PTA mother for the Easthaven Elementary School and is on their Site Base Council Advisory Board.

Felicia was born in Mansfield, Ohio, raised in Columbus, Ohio, and is an Alumna of Mifflin High School and Fort Hayes Career Center. She retired from Nationwide Insurance in 2006, where she participated in the Neighborhood Community Care Days, which was organized by former Mayor Michael B. Coleman. She is currently a contractor for the State of Ohio as an Professional Administrator.

 

Felicia is an impassioned and dedicated community leader. She is a tireless and compassionate woman that knows the pain of losing a child. Felicia’s son (Anthony “Fatboi” Sowers II) was murdered in August of 2009 on Columbus Eastside. Through her grief and pain Felicia took steps to try and stop the needless violence and loss of life in Columbus. She has joined support groups and participated in efforts throughout the city striving to impact and lessen the violence she saw in our city. Felicia also turned her attention to her own neighborhood by joining and helping to revive the Easthaven Civic Association, turning the block watch into one of the most active and productive associations in the city. Felicia works closely with the Columbus Peace Officers, her neighbors, businesses, churches, and others to face down crime. She has been described as a “crusader against crime” by the Assistant Director of the Columbus Public Safety.

Michael Greenwood graduated from THE Ohio State University with a degree in Strategic Communications in 2014.  Michael currently works at Cardinal Health as an Operations Specialist and he also is a fully licensed financial advisor and has a passion for helping families become financially literate. “I was drawn to Think Make Live after meeting Terry at Real Estate networking event. His personal story really resonated with me and I wanted to help him on his mission to help the youth and community.” Michael is the acting Treasurer of Think Make Live Youth and is originally from Cincinnati. He hopes to help take Think Make Live Youth across the country to assist youth all over the United States.

Margo Arnold is a proud graduate of Columbus City Schools and The Ohio State University. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs with a specialization in Community Organization and Civic Engagement. Since that time, she has worked at non-profits, volunteered at various community organizations, and even become an Americorps Alumna.

​

 

She currently serves as the Policy and Development Specialist for Asian American Community Services. Previously, she served as their Community Engagement Coordinator. Margo is passionate about helping people from all backgrounds discover the power that they have collectively and individually to change the world so her involvement with Think Make Live provides another outlet to do just that!
